Help KUPS design a new logo!

KUPS is looking for a NEW logo that we can put on a line of KUPS-themed crewneck sweaters! Everyone is welcome to submit a design, whether you’re involved in KUPS or not. The design contest starts NOW (go!) and goes until February 15. Then there’ll be voting on the designs on Facebook from February 15-20. Send your designs (one per person) to thesound@pugetsound.edu!

It’s a new day, DJs and Listeners, and accordingly I’ve added some new tunes to Local Rotation. Here’s what’s just become available in the station for your enjoyment: SALT Records Compilation We’ve got here 7 tracks by Tacoma School of the Arts students and friends.  They write (or arrange, in one case), record, and produce this stuff all on their own, and it’s damn impressive work.  There are some gentle acoustic folk songs, wailing, emotional numbers, pretty melodies and a capella harmonies.
